Patience Nganzi is a feminist lawyer and a professional Diplomat. She holds a Masters Degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from the European University of Lefke Cyprus and a Bachelor of Laws from Uganda Christian University. She is the Women’s Political Leadership Program Associate at Akina Mama wa Afrika where she advocates for Consolidation and enhancement for increased women especially young women in leadership and influence in Political spaces in Africa.
Patience served as an African Union Youth Ambassador in 2018 under the Office of the Special Envoy on Women Peace and Security till 2020. During this time, she advocated for the transformation of the lives of women, especially rural women, and to increase female representation in leadership positions on the African continent for transformative change.
She was a Global Peace Ambassador under the Global Peace Chain Initiative in 2019, Mandela Washington Fellow for the year 2020/2021 and runs a community program where she mentors youth to stay in school and dream big. Patience hopes that through her work, she will nurture the next generation of pan Africanists.
